Artificial Grass Direct: fake grass by the metre and DIY kit

Shopping at Artificial Grass Direct? See all current Artificial Grass Direct discount codes and deals, checked regularly.

Artificial Grass Direct is a UK online supplier of fake grass and the kit you need to lay it. It sells to homeowners, landscapers and retailers, and most of its range is priced per square metre including VAT, so you can work out a garden's cost before you pick up the phone. It suits anyone planning a DIY lawn swap, a low-maintenance patch for the dog, or a play area that doesn't turn to mud each winter.

Ordering is simple: choose a roll width, type in the length you need in metres and the total appears on the product page. Grasses come in 2m and 4m widths, with a 5m roll for wider lawns, and there's a free sample service so you can feel the pile and check the colours in your own garden first. The prices below were listed when we checked an archived copy of its site (April 2026), because the live site wasn't responding when we looked, so do confirm them before ordering.

What's worth a look

• Elite 40mm: a pet-friendly grass with four shades of green and a cushioned feel, listed from £22.90 per m² when we checked an archived copy of its site (April 2026). It comes with a 10-year product guarantee.
• Elder 5m wide: a 35mm grass on a 5m roll, aimed at large gardens where you'd rather avoid joins. It was listed from £19.71 per m² in April 2026, with a note that stock was low and to call about availability.
• Midnight 30mm: one of the cheaper options in the shop, listed from £18.08 per m² in the same archived copy. A shorter pile like this suits a neat, freshly mown look.
• Game 32mm: designed with play areas, schools and nurseries in mind, listed from £18.81 per m² in April 2026.
• Accessories: everything for a DIY install, including fixing pins listed at £0.16 each, jointing tape at £0.80 and a 310ml tube of polyurethane adhesive at £6.60 when we checked the archived copy.

Current offers

We don't have any discount codes for Artificial Grass Direct at the moment. Its own homepage was promoting these when we checked an archived copy:

• Off-cuts and remnants in the Outlet with up to 60% off, while stock lasts. They're handy for small spaces such as balconies, steps or a dog run.
• Free samples of its grasses, sent out after you fill in a short form.

The site also mentions a Low Price Promise, so if you've seen a similar grass cheaper elsewhere it's worth calling the team on 0800 035 3357 (Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm) to ask.

How to save more

• Measure twice and choose the width that gives you the fewest joins. Fewer joins means less tape and adhesive, and less wasted grass.
• Order your weed membrane, pins and adhesive with the grass so it all comes on one freight delivery. Delivery on grass is priced by weight, so splitting orders can cost more.
• Get samples of two or three grasses before you buy. A budget grass may look just as good in your space as a luxury one at a few pounds more per square metre.

Delivery is usually within seven working days across most of mainland Britain, while the Highlands, islands, Northern Ireland and international orders are priced on request. Read the delivery information before ordering, especially if access to your property is tight.
