The big UK sale dates for the rest of 2026
Singles' Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Boxing Day and the January sales: when they fall this year, and what each one is good for.

The last three months of the year bring most of the biggest sales. Here's when they land in 2026, and what each one tends to be best for.
| Event | Date | Usually best for |
|---|---|---|
| Singles' Day | Wednesday 11 November | Fashion, beauty and tech, especially from brands with big Asian markets |
| Black Friday | Friday 27 November | TVs, laptops, kitchen appliances, toys and beauty gift sets |
| Cyber Monday | Monday 30 November | Online-only extras, software, subscriptions and anything left over from the weekend |
| Boxing Day | Saturday 26 December | Clothing, homeware and Christmas stock |
| January sales | From late December into January | Furniture, beds, winter clothing and bigger markdowns as stock clears |
Black Friday is now a fortnight, not a day
Most UK retailers start their Black Friday offers a week or two early, and many run them through Cyber Monday. If you're watching a particular item, start checking prices from mid-November.
Plan before the rush
- Make a list of what you actually need, with today's prices, so you can spot a genuine saving.
- Sign up to the newsletters of stores you'll buy from. Many send a welcome code within minutes; we list these on each store's page.
- Check delivery cut-offs if you're buying Christmas presents. They vary by store and get earlier every year.
- Note returns windows. Many stores extend them over Christmas, but not all do.
We'll update store pages with new codes and deals throughout the season. Turn on alerts for your favourite stores and we'll email you when something lands.
