How we verify codes
Where our codes and deals come from, how we check them, and what our badges tell you.
Where codes come from
We only list codes and deals that come from the store itself: published on its own website, help centre or app, supplied through its official affiliate programme (such as Awin), or sent to us directly. We never copy codes from other voucher sites. For offers we find on a store's site, we keep a link to the page so we can recheck them.
The Verified badge
When we've tried a code at the store's checkout and seen the discount come off, it gets a "Verified" badge with the date. Offers without the badge are still taken from the store's own pages, but we haven't tested them at a checkout yet. We work through these starting with the most popular stores.
Keeping it current
Offers with an end date are taken down automatically when they expire. We recheck offers regularly, starting with anything close to its end date and anything a shopper has reported.
What the badges mean
| Badge | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Verified today / yesterday / 3 days ago | When we last saw the code work at checkout |
| No badge | Published by the store on its own site, not yet tested by us at checkout |
| Top code | The best working saving we have for that store |
| Ends tonight / Ends Sunday | The store has told us it expires within three days |
| New customers, Students, App only | Who can use it. Check the terms before you rely on it |
| Recently expired | Passed its end date or stopped working. Some still work, so you can try them |
When you tell us a code failed
Tap "Didn't work?" after revealing a code. It goes straight to our queue and we recheck it. If it fails for us too, we take it down for everyone.
How we make money
Stores pay us a small commission when you buy through our links. It never changes your price, and stores can't pay to rank higher or to have a code listed as verified. Read our affiliate disclosure.
