Accessibility statement

Last updated 3 October 2026

We want everyone to be able to find and use a discount code on Voucher Magpie, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What you should be able to do

  • Zoom in up to 400% without text spilling off the screen or the page scrolling sideways
  • Use the whole site with a keyboard: there's a "Skip to content" link, and every link and button shows a clear outline when it has focus
  • Use the site with a screen reader such as VoiceOver, TalkBack or NVDA. When you reveal a code, it is read out and focus moves to the Copy button
  • Read text that has enough contrast against its background, and tap buttons and links that are big enough to hit easily
  • Turn off animations: we respect your device's "reduce motion" setting
  • Find what you need without colour: offer types and badges always have a text label

How we test

We check the main pages (home, store pages, deals, search, news, give back, sign in and contact) with the automated axe-core checker against WCAG 2.2 A and AA, and by hand with a keyboard and at phone, tablet and desktop widths. We last did this on 3 October 2026, and fixed the problems it found.

Known problems

  • Shop maps. The map on store pages is hard to use with a keyboard or screen reader. Use the "Find my nearest" button for a text list of the closest shops, or the store's own shop finder.
  • Store logos and photos come from other people. We describe photos in our articles, but store logos are named rather than described in detail.
  • Store websites. When you click through to a store, you're on its website, and its accessibility is up to the store.

Tell us about a problem

If something on Voucher Magpie doesn't work for you, or you need information in a different format, email [email protected] or use our contact form. Tell us the page and what went wrong, and we'll reply within 5 working days.

Before you shop

Who should your commission support?

The store pays us a commission when you buy. We donate half of it to the charity you pick. You still get the discount, and it costs you nothing.
