Affiliate disclosure
How Voucher Magpie makes money, in plain English.
Last updated 2 October 2026
Voucher Magpie is free to use. We pay for it through affiliate marketing.
How it works
Many of the links on this site to stores are affiliate links. When you click one, the affiliate network (for example Awin) records that you came from us. If you then buy something, the store pays us a small commission. Links to stores are marked with rel="sponsored" for search engines.
What it never changes
- Your price. You pay exactly the same as if you had gone to the store directly.
- Our rankings. Stores can't pay to rank higher, to appear as a "Top code", or to have a code marked as verified.
- Which stores we list. We list useful codes from stores whether or not we earn commission from them.
Giving to charity
If you pick a charity, we donate half of the commission we receive on your purchases to that charity, once the store has confirmed the sale. We record which charity you chose against each click and send a reference to the affiliate network so the commission can be matched. How giving works.
Cookies set by affiliate networks
When you click through to a store, the affiliate network may set a cookie on its own website to track the sale. Voucher Magpie doesn't set or read that cookie. See our cookie policy for details.
Advertising rules
We follow the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising (CAP Code) and the Competition and Markets Authority's guidance on online reviews and endorsements. If you think something on the site is misleading, please tell us.
