ASMAX makes kit for motorcyclists: helmet intercoms so riders can talk to each other, take calls and hear navigation, plus small rechargeable tyre inflators. The company behind it is based in Hong Kong and launched its first intercoms in 2023, and it now ships riders' orders from warehouses in several countries, including the UK.

The intercoms are built around group riding: they pair with your phone for calls, music and sat-nav directions, and link with other riders' units so a small group can chat on the move. The brand lists IPX7 water resistance and wireless firmware updates among its features.

It suits commuters and touring riders who want a helmet intercom without paying top-tier prices, and anyone who wants a cordless pump for bike, car or bicycle tyres. Prices on the site are in US dollars, but the shipping policy says taxes and import duties are already included in the total at checkout, so there should be no surprise charge on delivery.

What's worth a look

  • ASMAX F1s helmet intercom, currently from $139.99 for a single unit (shown against $169.99), or $259.99 for a dual pack. This is the brand's current lead model, with app control and over-the-air firmware updates.
  • ASMAX S1 helmet intercom, currently from $89.99 depending on colour (shown against $129.99). A lower-cost option that comes as a single or a two-rider pack.
  • T10 Portable Tyre Inflator, currently $58.99. A USB-C rechargeable pump with a pressure display and built-in light, small enough to keep under a seat or in a top box.
  • T20 Jump Starter & Tyre Inflator, currently $78.49. Combines a pump with a jump starter for a flat battery.
  • ASMAX F1/F1s RidePhones, currently $99.99. Upgraded helmet speakers for the F1 and F1s intercoms.

Prices can change, and dollar prices will convert to pounds at your card provider's rate.

Current offers

  • Sale prices on intercoms: the F1s from $139.99 and the S1 from $89.99.
  • Free standard shipping on orders over $99.
  • 150 Rider Program points for creating a free account, plus 1 point per $1 spent. Points can be swapped for discount coupons.

How to save more

  • If you ride with a partner, the dual packs work out cheaper than buying two singles.
  • Bundle a spare mount or audio kit with a pump to get over the $99 free-shipping line.
  • Look out for double and triple points events on the Rider Program, but note that points rewards can't be combined with other discount codes.
  • Compare the T-series pumps before buying. The T40 is currently $42.96 and the pocket-sized T30 $48.92, so you may not need the T20's jump-starter if you only want to top up tyres.
