Curo Skin: filtered shower heads, refill subscriptions and pre-orders

Curo Skin is a UK brand launched in February 2025 that sells one main thing: a filtered shower head. Its founder spent around 18 months on prototypes before launch, and the range has since grown to include a larger model, replacement cartridges and a matching holder. It suits anyone who wants a filter built into the shower head rather than an inline unit, and who likes the idea of refills turning up on a schedule.

The cartridge inside is a blend of KDF-55, calcium sulphite and activated carbon, and the brand suggests changing it about every 90 days. The shower heads come in Chrome, Brushed Gold and Midnight Black.

Orders placed before 2pm on a working day are usually dispatched the same day, with shower heads sent by Royal Mail Tracked24 and filters by Tracked48. The site also ships to many other countries, with rates worked out at checkout. Refunds go back to your original payment method within five working days once a return has been checked, and other unused items can be sent back within 30 days in their original packaging. There's no phone line; help is by email at [email protected] or through live chat on the site.

What's worth a look

• Filtered Shower Head: currently from £60, down from £80, in all three finishes. The product page offers it on its own or bundled with a filter subscription.
• The Rainfall: the larger model, currently £68 on pre-order instead of £99, with dispatch expected in early November. The box includes a fitted filter, a spanner, a silicone strap, plumber's tape and instructions.
• Replacement Filter: currently £34, down from £40, though it was showing as out of stock when we checked. Subscriptions are the cheaper way to buy it.

Prices can change, so check the product page before you order.

Current offers

• 25% off the Filtered Shower Head: from £60 instead of £80.
• 30% off The Rainfall on pre-order: £68 instead of £99, while pre-order stock lasts.
• Filter subscriptions: save 15% on a refill every 90 days, or 25% on an annual pack of four sent together.
• Free next day delivery: shown on the shower head pages, with same-day dispatch on orders placed before 2pm.

How to save more

• If you know you'll keep using it, the annual filter pack saves the most per cartridge, and subscriptions can be paused or cancelled.
• If The Rainfall is the model you want, the pre-order price is £31 less than the listed full price.
• Set a reminder for around 90 days after fitting a new cartridge, or let a subscription handle it so you're not paying full price for a last-minute single filter.
• Shower heads can be returned within 60 days (with £3.50 taken off the refund), so you have time to try one at home.
