Flooring Surgeons is a flooring supplier and fitting company from the West Midlands, with stores in Halesowen and Wolverhampton. Online it sells laminate, engineered wood, solid wood, herringbone, chevron and luxury vinyl flooring, and it also offers measuring, fitting and floor restoration. The company says it has more than ten years in the trade.

It suits homeowners planning a new floor who want to see samples first, and anyone near the Midlands who would like the same company to supply and fit. Delivery covers England, Wales and Scotland.

What's worth a look

• Engineered wood flooring. The main range includes oak boards such as Berlin, listed at £42.99 per m², and Cambridge at £44.99 per m². Prices can change.
• Medium-shade engineered flooring, currently from £30 per m² up to £89.99 per m², depending on board size and finish.
• Berlin cottage oak herringbone engineered flooring, 14mm thick with 90mm blocks, for a classic parquet look.
• Laminate flooring, including herringbone, kitchen and bathroom-suitable boards and harder-wearing AC5 ranges, a cheaper route to a wood look.

If you already have wooden floors, the company also restores them. Its published guide prices put sanding alone at £12 to £20 per m², sanding with lacquer at £15 to £25 per m², and sanding with an oil finish at £18 to £30 per m², with gap filling from £4 per m².

Current offers

• Free delivery on qualifying orders over £500.
• Up to three free samples, so you can compare colours and finishes in your own room.

Most orders can be delivered from three working days after ordering, with dates and charges shown at checkout. Unopened packs in their original condition may be returned within the returns period, subject to approval, so speak to the team before sending anything back.

How to save more

• Measure carefully and order the full room in one go; larger orders over £500 get free delivery and you avoid boards from different batches.
• Use the price filters on the engineered flooring pages to compare boards by cost per square metre.
• Before replacing a tired wooden floor, get a quote for sanding and refinishing, which is often cheaper than new boards.

The Halesowen store is on 0121 274 8575 and the Wolverhampton store on 01902 836666, and both are open seven days a week. If you are nearby, visiting a store lets you see full boards rather than small samples, and talk through fitting, underlay and finishing options with the team.

When working out how much to buy, add a margin for cutting and waste, especially for herringbone and chevron patterns, which need more trimming at the edges than straight boards. Engineered flooring with a thicker wear layer can usually be sanded again in future, which is worth considering if you expect the floor to last many years.

Products, prices and offers checked on the store's own website on 4 Oct 2026. Prices and stock can change.
