ISOQAR is a UK certification body that audits organisations against ISO management system standards such as ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment), ISO 45001 (health and safety) and ISO 27001 (information security). It has been going in one form or another since 1991 and is now part of Veriforce Holdings, with its registered office near Cardiff. Alongside certification, its ISOQAR Academy trains the people who set up, run and audit those systems.

This is a business-to-business service rather than a shop, but individuals can book open courses directly on the website, and prices are published per delegate. Courses run in classrooms in Manchester, London, Bristol and Leamington Spa, as live online sessions, as self-paced e-learning, or in-house at your own workplace. Many are certified by CQI IRCA, the professional body for quality and auditing, which matters if you want a recognised auditor qualification. Prices on the course pages exclude VAT, which is added at checkout.

What's worth a look

  • CQI IRCA ISO 9001:2015 Foundation e-learning: currently £175.50. Around seven hours of self-paced study that you can split across several sessions, with progress saved between log-ins. It suits people new to quality management or those who need the basics before an auditor course.
  • CQI IRCA ISO 9001:2015 Foundation course: prices from £525 for one tutor-led day. Better for people who prefer a live trainer and the chance to ask questions as they go.
  • CQI IRCA ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor course: currently £850 for the remote course starting 13 October 2026. Two days on planning, carrying out and reporting internal audits of a quality management system. You are expected to know the basics of ISO 9001 first.
  • CQI IRCA ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor course: listed at £1,550 for five days and ending with a closed-book exam. It is aimed at quality managers and anyone who will audit suppliers or other organisations.
  • ISO 9001:2026 and ISO 14001:2026 courses: new foundation, internal auditor, lead auditor and transition courses for the revised standards, with prices from £525 for the one-day transition and foundation courses.

Current offers

  • The remote CQI IRCA ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor course starting Monday 5 October 2026 is listed at £1,395 instead of £1,550, plus VAT.
  • Book three or more people from the same company on the ISO 9001 Foundation e-learning course and a 30% discount is applied when you enter the delegate details.

How to save more

  • Compare dates before booking. Individual sessions are sometimes listed below the standard price, so check every date on the course page.
  • If you only need the foundation knowledge, the e-learning version costs about a third of the classroom day.
  • If you are leaving the armed forces, ISOQAR lists itself as an ELCAS-approved provider, so you may be able to put Enhanced Learning Credits towards a course.
