TagBand is the UK website for the TagBand skin tag removal kits, sold by UK Innovations GP Ltd from London. It's a very focused shop: there are just two kits, each made in two sizes, and the site covers how they work, how to pick a size and who shouldn't use them.

The method is simple. You use an applicator to place a small elastic band around the base of a skin tag. The kits are for skin tags only. TagBand's FAQ says they mustn't be used on moles, warts, verrucas, broken or irritated skin, or tags that are red or sore, and suggests seeing a doctor or dermatologist if you aren't sure what you have. The bands are natural rubber latex, so they aren't suitable if you have a latex allergy. Speak to your GP or pharmacist if you have any concerns about your health.

What's worth a look

• Original TagBand Skin Tag Removal Kit is currently £9.95, down from £18.95. This is the cheaper of the two and needs two hands to fit. The Large size was in stock when we checked, while the Small was showing as out of stock with a 'notify me' button.
• Auto TagBand Skin Tag Removal Kit is currently £12.95, down from £27.95. It works the same way but is designed for one-handed use, which helps with spots that are hard to reach. Both sizes were out of stock when we looked, so sign up for a restock alert if this is the one you want.
• Choosing a size: the TagBand FAQ explains that Small is for tags 2-4mm across at their widest point and Large is for 4-6mm. If you can't tell, it suggests going for Small.

The product pages say each kit covers up to 10 skin tags. The site also has a short blog with explainers on telling skin tags, warts and moles apart, which is worth reading before you buy. Prices can change.

• Free delivery over £20: standard tracked delivery is free on orders over £20. Below that there's a small delivery charge, listed as £1.95 on the shipping page (some product pages say £2.95). Mainland UK delivery takes 2-4 working days, and Northern Ireland, the islands and the Scottish Highlands take 3-6.

How to save more

• Since each kit is under £20, a single order pays postage. Buying two kits, for example both sizes of the Original, or an Original plus an Auto, takes you over £20 for free delivery.
• Measure first. Getting the right size the first time saves you a second order and a second delivery charge.
• If the kit you want is out of stock, use the notify button instead of buying elsewhere. The sale prices were showing on both kits when we checked.

Orders placed after noon on a Friday are usually processed the following Monday, so allow for that if you're ordering at the end of the week.
