The SABI was started by two mothers, Anna and Hilary, after their own experiences of pregnancy, postpartum recovery and hormonal ups and downs. Hilary trained as a holistic nutritionist and studied herbalism, and the brand says every recipe is developed with a master herbalist and reviewed by an OB-GYN. The shop is organised by life stage, with sections for pregnancy, after the baby arrives, cycle support and stressful times.

It suits expectant and new mums, and friends and family looking for a thoughtful gift for one. Most blends come in plastic-free teabags, and the brand suggests them hot or iced. Speak to your GP or pharmacist if you have any concerns about your health, particularly during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

What's worth a look

• The Calm Herbal Blend is currently £22. It's a mix of lavender, oat straw, chamomile, passionflower and lemon balm, made for winding down in the evening.
• The Breastfeeding Herbal Blend is currently £22, made with fennel, moringa, oat straw and nettle. It's vegan and made in the UK.
• Rest & Digest is currently £40 and pairs The Calm with The Digestive Herbal Blend, so you get one for evenings and one for after meals.
• The Postpartum Programme starts at £45 for The First 15 Days (two blends plus guided emails and audio). The First 45 Days is £66 with three blends, and a 12-week version is £175 and adds a session with a nutritionist. You start it in the third trimester.
• Prebiotic Moisturiser is currently £38.50 for 200ml, a cream for face and body made with shea butter, jojoba, sea buckthorn and marine algae.
