Trusty Stores is a UK catalogue retailer for people who have been turned down for credit elsewhere. It sells phones, televisions, laptops, home appliances and furniture, and every order is paid for through its own plan, TrustPay: 12 equal payments at 0% APR, with no deposit and no credit check. It suits shoppers who need to replace something essential, like a washing machine or a phone, and want to know exactly what they'll pay and when.
Approved customers get a £1,200 credit line to spend across the range. You choose whether payments come out weekly (over 12 weeks), fortnightly (over 24 weeks) or monthly (over 12 months). The payment amount is the same whichever you choose; only the length of the plan changes. The store lists a shop at 14 Dudley Street in Wolverhampton.
What's worth a look
- Mobile phones: models run from the Motorola Moto G06 64GB, currently 12 payments of £13.35 (£160.20 total), through the Samsung Galaxy A16 128GB at £250.20 total, up to the Google Pixel 10 128GB at 12 payments of £82.35 (£988.20 total).
- TVs and soundbars: the Samsung U8020H 50-inch 4K TV is currently £580.20 in total (12 payments of £48.35), and the Hisense 55A7QTUK 55-inch QLED is £652.20 in total. Soundbars start with the Panasonic SCHTB258 at £293.95.
- Washers and dryers: washing machines and tumble dryers for when the old one gives up.
- Small home appliances: kitchen and cleaning kit from brands including Dyson, Ninja and KitchenAid.
- Sofas and furniture: beds, sofas and dining sets on the same 12-payment plan.

Current offers
We didn't find any discount codes or sales on the Trusty Stores site at the time of writing. The way it works is the same on every item: the total price split into 12 equal payments at 0% APR, with no interest or fees on top. The store's FAQs say TrustPay is a store credit facility rather than FCA-regulated consumer credit, and that orders are dispatched after your fourth on-time payment, with up to 10 working days for delivery after that. Bear that timing in mind if you need an item quickly.
How to save more
- Compare the total price with what the same model costs at other retailers. Spreading the cost is useful, but the total is what you actually pay.
- Choose the cheaper model in a range where it does the job. The Samsung Galaxy A16 at £250.20 leaves much more of the £1,200 credit line free than a flagship phone.
- Pick the payment frequency that matches when you're paid, so each payment goes out on time and your order moves to dispatch without delay.
