Your Virtual Office London is the virtual office service run by Capital Office Ltd from 124 City Road, London EC1. It gives your business a London address without renting an office, whether you need a registered office for Companies House, a service address to keep a director's home address off the public record, or a business address for everyday post. Call answering, company formation and meeting room hire are available too.

It suits sole traders who work from home, new limited companies, and overseas owners who want a UK presence. Capital Office was incorporated in 2007 and says it has been trading since 2008. It is a Companies House authorised agent and is supervised by HMRC for anti-money-laundering rules, so expect identity checks before your address goes live. All prices below are per year and exclude VAT.

Buying is done online and, according to the company, takes a couple of minutes, with setup completed in around ten minutes on average once the identity checks have cleared. Meeting rooms at City Road can also be booked by the hour if you need somewhere to see clients in person.
