AirCraft is a British home appliance brand best known for PowerGlide, a cordless machine that sprays, scrubs and polishes hard floors in one go. The range has since grown to include a cordless scrubber for tiles and grout, a family of quiet air circulator fans and a high-speed hair dryer. It's a good fit if most of your home has wood, laminate, vinyl or tiled floors and you're tired of the mop and bucket.
You can also find AirCraft at retailers such as Lakeland, Currys, AO and Argos, but the brand's own site carries the full range plus spare pads, batteries and chargers for current and older models. New products come with a 12-month guarantee, and you can register your appliance online.
What's worth a look
- POWERGLIDE Cordless Hard Floor Cleaner & Polisher: two microfibre pads spin 250 times a minute to clean, buff and dry hard floors. The removable battery gives around 30 minutes of cleaning, and two pairs of machine-washable pads are included. The handle folds flat and has LED headlights for reaching under sofas and beds, and the machine has a Quiet Mark award. It's currently £199.
- POWERGLIDE CITY+: a smaller, 2.5kg version for flats and smaller homes, with spray-on-demand and over 30 minutes of cleaning per charge. It's currently £189.
- POWERSCRUB Cordless Electric Scrubber: a long-reach scrubber for tiles, grout, bathrooms and patios. It has five interchangeable heads, up to 120 minutes of runtime and a storage stand, and it's currently £99.
- LUME MINI Quiet Desktop Air Circulator Fan: a compact desk fan from the LUME range, currently £99. The LUME MIDI table version is currently £129.
- AirMotion High-Speed Hair Dryer: a compact dryer with a 120,000rpm motor, an ioniser and three heat settings, currently £89.

How to save more
- Keep an older machine going with spares. Replacement PowerGlide pads start at £14.95 a pair and batteries at £39.95, which costs much less than a new cleaner.
- Sign up to the AirCraft newsletter, which the site says is the first place to hear about offers and launches.
- Check the returns rules before you buy. Unused items can go back within 30 days, but a £6.99 restocking fee applies, so be sure which model you want first.
