Alphagenix is a men's health clinic run by Alphagenix Ltd, with its head office in Newcastle upon Tyne. It sells home test kits through its online shop and offers testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) as a monthly subscription, prescribed after blood tests and a consultation with one of its doctors. Its clinical services are registered with the Care Quality Commission through BMP Medical, and prescriptions are dispensed by a partner pharmacy.

It suits men who want to arrange testing and appointments remotely and prefer a single monthly price that covers medication, delivery and follow-up tests. Whether any treatment is right for you is a decision for a doctor, and Alphagenix's own clinicians make that call after reviewing your results.

What's worth a look

  • Testosterone and Proteins Blood Test (4 biomarkers), currently £33. A finger-prick kit with lancets, vials and instructions, posted free by Royal Mail letterbox delivery and followed by a call to talk through the results.
  • Testosterone Plus Blood Test (8 biomarkers), currently £55, for a broader panel from the same type of home kit.
  • Advanced Hormone Screen, currently listed at £275 in the shop. It is the more detailed test used before a treatment plan is set.
  • ExSeed Home Sperm Test Kit (2 tests), currently £84.99. It works with a smartphone app, with a 5-test kit at £134.99 and a 5-test refill at £71.99.
  • TRT plans, currently £145 a month for Aspire (tablets), £150 to £185 for Atlas (creams or injections) and £199 to £245 for Alpha (injections). Each plan includes medication, delivery, monitoring blood tests and doctor appointments.

Prices can change, and the advanced screen is quoted at £225 including a consultation on the services page, so check what is included before you pay. All TRT plans follow a subscription model, so read the terms on minimum periods and cancellation before signing up.

Current offers

  • Free initial consultation for new patients and for men switching from another TRT clinic.
