Austens Jewellers has been trading in Bath since 1995, and its shop on Widcombe Parade still handles repairs, valuations, bespoke commissions and cash for gold. Online, the focus is on everyday jewellery: earrings, rings, bracelets and necklaces in 925 sterling silver with 14ct, 18ct or 24ct gold plating. The pieces are described as nickel-free, and most cost between £25 and £75, so it suits anyone after a gift or something to wear every day without paying solid-gold prices.

Ranges are arranged into named collections such as Astoria, Clover, Eternelle, Serenity and Vintage, which makes it easy to put together a matching set. Each order comes in a white jewellery box with an anti-tarnish pouch and a polishing cloth, so pieces are ready to give.

Beyond the gold-plated ranges, the site lists a smaller selection of solid gold earrings set with diamonds, sapphires and tanzanite, a men's Eco-Drive leather strap watch, and gift cards from £10. If you're near Bath, the shop's services are worth knowing about too: Austens can design a piece from scratch, repair jewellery and watches, and provide valuations for insurance. That mix makes it a useful option both for affordable everyday pieces and for the occasional bigger purchase.

Only one discount can be used per order, and the FAQs say there isn't a student or NHS discount at the moment.
