BioGaia is a Swedish company that has spent more than 30 years working with one family of friendly bacteria, Limosilactobacillus reuteri. Its UK online shop sells the range direct: drops for babies, chewable tablets for children, and lozenges and capsules for adults, plus a newer probiotic skincare line. The products are sold as food supplements, and BioGaia itself points out that they're not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet.
