Once a big LEGO set is finished, the question is where to put it. Brickzonehub, a small UK shop with an address in Elgin, makes wall-mounted frames, acrylic display cases and LED light kits that are each cut to fit a specific set. The idea is to get finished builds off crowded shelves and onto the wall, behind a clear front that keeps the dust off.

It suits adult collectors and older children with a few prized sets, and it's a handy gift idea for someone who has just finished a long build. Bear in mind that Brickzonehub isn't connected with LEGO and no bricks are included: you supply the set, they supply the frame.

The range follows the sets people are building now. Alongside the frames and cases there are LED light kits for Harry Potter, Star Wars, Icons and Technic models, and the frames are made from materials such as acrylic, wood veneer and matte leather finishes, depending on the edition. The site says installation takes about five minutes.

What's worth a look

• Wall-mounted frame for Tower Bridge 21067: one of the newest frames, currently £189 for the standard edition or £209 with built-in LEDs. It turns the long bridge model into a piece of wall art.
• Wall display case for LEGO Art The Kiss 31221: a dust-proof case for the Klimt mosaic, currently £99.
• 12-car Speed Champions F1 frame: holds a full grid of the small F1 cars, measures 120 x 45cm and is currently from £150.90 (£181.90 for the LED version). There's a white version too.
• 124-minifigure wall case: six tiers behind acrylic, 79cm wide, currently from £143.90. Versions are sold for Star Wars, Harry Potter and Marvel collections.
• Light kit for the Speed Champions Time Machine 77256: if you'd rather light a model than frame it, the kits start low, and this one is currently £29.

Current offers

• Free standard delivery on every UK order. Express delivery is available at extra cost.

We didn't find any discount codes or sale prices on the site when we looked. If that changes, we'll add them to the Brickzonehub page.

How to save more

• Pick the Standard Display Edition unless you really want lighting. On the frames above the LED version costs £20 to £96 more.
• If you mostly want a model to glow, a standalone light kit costs far less than a lit frame.
• Order early for gifts. Standard delivery is free but can take 7-15 working days after 3-5 days of processing, so leave plenty of time before Christmas.
