C W Sellors is a family jeweller that started in Derbyshire in 1979. It has shops in Ashbourne, Bakewell and Matlock, two W Hamond shops in Whitby and York, and a workshop in Ashbourne for bespoke pieces and repairs. Online, it sells engagement and wedding rings, diamond and gemstone jewellery, designer brands and watches. It is a good place to look if you want something made with British stones, especially Derbyshire Blue John and Whitby Jet, or a watch from an authorised dealer. Designer names on the site include Fabergé, Georg Jensen, Clogau and Marco Bicego, and the watch brands include Oris, Bell & Ross, Junghans and Garmin.

A note on the business: the company that previously ran C W Sellors went into administration in January 2026, and the website is now run by CW Sellors Group Ltd, set up in March 2026. As with any retailer that has recently changed hands, check the delivery and returns terms before you order.

What's worth a look

Prices are as shown on the website and can change. As well as ready-made pieces, the Ashbourne workshop offers bespoke design by appointment, and the shops offer jewellery repairs, watch servicing and valuations.
