FLOWERFIX is an online florist that posts fresh flowers across the UK. Its signature format is the letterbox bouquet: a slim box that fits through most front doors, so the person you're sending to doesn't have to be home to sign for it. If you'd like something bigger, most bunches also come as a hand-tied bouquet, and there are rose bunches, seasonal peonies, vases, pots and a monthly flower club.

The business grew out of LK Verdant, a florist its founder started in 2016, and the letterbox range has grown from one bunch to more than 30. One thing that sets it apart is the pet-safe range. Each suitable bouquet is labelled on its product page, which is handy if you're sending flowers to someone with a cat or dog. It suits anyone who wants to send flowers by post for a birthday, a thank you or just because, and anyone who likes having fresh flowers at home on a regular basis.

Before ordering, check the delivery page. Flowers are cut to order, so for a set delivery day you need to order by 10pm two days before, or by noon the day before for next-day. FLOWERFIX doesn't deliver to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man or some Highland and island postcodes. Deliveries to hospitals are at your own risk, because patients often move between wards.
