Flowers & Plants Co. is an independent London florist that started in 2020 with a small studio in Canary Wharf. It now has walk-in shops at Jubilee Place and Canada Place in Canary Wharf and inside Whole Foods Market on Kensington High Street, with its main design studio in Park Royal. Bouquets are hand-tied on the day they're sent, using stems from growers in the Netherlands, Kenya and Italy, and from British farms when the season allows.

London orders placed by 6pm can arrive the same day, delivered by the shop's own drivers, and the rest of the UK is covered by a next-day service. Beyond bouquets you'll find houseplants, gift add-ons, a flower subscription and floristry workshops. It suits Londoners who want flowers sent quickly, and anyone elsewhere in the UK looking for a florist-made bouquet rather than one packed in a warehouse.

What's worth a look

  • Pastel Plush, currently £29.99 for the Regular size. Lilac roses, white lilies and alstroemeria with green bells, with Large (£42.49) and Deluxe (£52.99) options.
  • Peach Melba, currently £39.99 for the Regular size. Named after the dessert created at the Savoy, it mixes orange roses and carnations with bright red gerberas and yellow alstroemeria.
  • Large White Orchids, currently £24.99 without a pot or £39.99 with one. A long-lasting alternative to cut flowers.
  • Peace Lily, currently £19.99 without a pot, a straightforward houseplant for a home or office.
  • Beginners Hand-Tied Bouquet workshop, currently £85 per person. A class in central London for up to 10 people, with flowers, tools and refreshments included, and you take your bouquet home.

When you order a bouquet you can add extras at checkout: handmade chocolates or a glass bouquet vase for £12 each, an alcohol-free chocolate box for £18, or a bottle of Moët & Chandon for £55. Plants are usually delivered within one to three days rather than same day. The flower school also runs other £85 classes, including seasonal wreath making, which is worth a look as autumn turns into the festive season.
