HomeSpace Direct is an online homeware shop based in Hazel Grove, Stockport, run by a company that has been trading since 2007. It started out in textiles and bedding is still its biggest department. Over time it has added made-to-measure curtains, towels, rugs, lighting, mirrors and outdoor furniture. It's a good fit if you're refreshing a bedroom on a budget, or if you'd like to buy a whole room scheme in one go.

The bedding range covers far more than duvet sets. You'll find fitted, flat and deep-pocket sheets in several thread counts, pillowcases, mattress protectors, pillows and throws, so it's easy to replace one worn-out piece without buying a full set. Bedding is listed in single, double, king and super king sizes, and the price changes with the size you pick.

The site is arranged by room, style and 'look' as well as by product type. That helps if you know the feel you want but not exactly what to buy. Plenty of the home accessories come from the decor brand Hill Interiors, while the sheets and duvet sets are mostly sold under HomeSpace's own name.

How to save more
