Horde Studio is a ready-to-wear label led by creative director Yasmine Ammal Piskorski, who splits her time between Casablanca, Paris and London. Before fashion she painted abstract art, and those prints now cover denim jackets, jeans, shorts and skirts. The UK site prices in pounds and is operated from Rochdale. The brand says everything is produced in Morocco.
It suits anyone who wants denim with a strong print rather than a plain wash. There are separate women's and men's edits, and a fair number of unisex pieces, such as shirts and shorts. Expect prices in the £120 to £280 range for most items.
The prints are what set the label apart. Marble, animal, blue wave and houndstooth patterns run through matching jackets, jeans and skirts, so you can wear a single printed piece with plain basics or put together a full co-ord. Some of the shorts are made from organic denim, and the brand says its packaging is recycled, biodegradable or compostable.
