Japspeed has been selling performance parts for Japanese cars since 2004, working out of Manchester. If you own a Civic Type R, an Impreza, a Skyline, a 350Z, a GT86 or a Lexus IS200, there's a good chance it stocks something for it. The range covers exhaust systems, induction kits, intercoolers and radiators, suspension, wheel spacers and brake discs, along with a small line of Team Japspeed clothing.

It suits owners who like to modify their own cars, as well as people who want to pick parts and hand them to a garage. The site lets you search by manufacturer, model and variant, and the team says it will confirm fitment before you buy. One thing to know up front: Japspeed asks for parts to be fitted by a qualified mechanic, or the warranty and returns policy no longer apply.

Dispatch is usually within three working days, and large items such as exhausts and intercoolers go by specialist courier. Parts are covered against faults for 12 months, with repair or replacement where needed.

How to save more

• Join the Japspeed newsletter at the bottom of the site. It lets you choose your car's manufacturer, and Japspeed says subscribers get exclusive discounts.
• Ask the team to confirm fitment before you order. Returns must be unused and uninstalled, and you'll usually pay to send them back, so checking first can save you money.
• For bigger purchases, such as coilovers, Klarna, Clearpay and PayPal finance are offered on selected products to spread the cost. Check the repayment terms before you sign up.
