Lights 4 Living is a lighting specialist based in Chippenham, Wiltshire, with an appointment-only showroom and a large online catalogue. It stocks more than 30 brands, including Laura Ashley, Endon, Elstead, Dar, David Hunt and Searchlight, plus its own range, covering everything from chandeliers and bathroom lights to garden lamp posts and bulbs. It's a good fit if you're redecorating a room, replacing tired fittings or matching lights you already own.

Product pages list full sizes and finishes, and the site has guides on bathroom IP zones and planning lighting room by room. Light fittings come with a guarantee of at least 12 months, though bulbs aren't covered.
