Sedley is a British menswear label that keeps things simple: T-shirts, shirts and polos, co-ord sets, jeans, knitwear and jackets, designed to be worn on repeat rather than chased season by season. The brand talks about good fabric and fair prices instead of big logos, so it suits men who want to build a wardrobe of reliable basics without spending a fortune. It sells online only, in pounds, with delivery across the UK and much of Europe.

The shop is split into clear sections: new in, T-shirts, shirts and polos, co-ords, bottoms, knitwear and sweatshirts, outerwear and accessories, plus a Last Chance Sale. Colours are mostly neutral, with plenty of black, navy, khaki, grey and beige, which makes it easy to mix pieces together. Accessories are limited to a few caps, leather wallets and card holders, and multipacks of boxers, so the focus stays firmly on clothing.

• Claypool Khaki Jacket, currently £69.50, down from £139 in the sale. A useful mid-weight layer for autumn, also available in black.
• Cennick Grey Gilet, currently £50 (was £110). Gilets are well represented in the range, and this one works over a knit or a hoodie.
• Finching 992 Regular Fit Denim Jeans, currently £30, reduced from £50. There are several regular and slim-fit washes to choose from.
• Hodel Polo Black, currently £28, a plain polo that dresses up or down.

• Sedley's FAQs say it may offer a price adjustment if you bought something up to seven days before a seasonal sale starts. It's at their discretion, so contact customer care with your order number if it applies to you.
• Think about returns before you order: you have 30 days to send unworn items back with tags attached, but a £1.99 fee is taken from your refund when you use the prepaid returns portal.

Customer service is by email, and Sedley aims to reply within 48 hours. UK orders usually arrive in one to two days once dispatched, with a tracking link sent by email.
