Springer Nature Link, previously called SpringerLink, is where Springer Nature publishes its journals and books online. You can also buy them there. Springer Nature was formed in 2015 from the merger of Springer with Nature Publishing Group, Palgrave Macmillan and Macmillan Education. The platform covers science, technology, medicine, business, the humanities and the social sciences, from imprints including Springer, Palgrave and Apress. It suits students, researchers and professionals, as well as curious readers who want a proper textbook on programming, statistics or electronics rather than a quick guide.
What's worth a look
Most books can be bought as an eBook, which you download as a PDF and often EPUB and keep, or as a softcover or hardcover print edition. Prices are shown in your local currency. The site blocked our automated checks, so we read archived copies, which showed European pricing (May 2026). We couldn't confirm UK prices in pounds, so check the live page.
- An Introduction to Statistical Learning: with Applications in R – a widely used data science textbook, available as an eBook, softcover and hardcover. In our archived copy the eBook was discounted to €18.99 for European buyers.
- Electronics for Beginners – an Apress introduction to circuits and microcontrollers using battery-powered projects. The archived copy also showed the eBook reduced to €18.99.
- Technology Roadmapping and Development – a management of technology text built around real R&D case studies, sold as an eBook, softcover and hardcover.
- Apress – Springer Nature's imprint for programming and IT books, worth browsing if you work in software.

How to save more
- Check whether a book or chapter is open access before buying. A large share of the content on the platform is free to read.
- If you're a student or staff member at a university, log in through your institution first. Your library may already licence the eBook, so you won't need to buy it.
- Compare formats. The eBook is often discounted when the print edition isn't, and you get it instantly.
