Teddy's Trove is a small family-run online gift shop based near Thirsk in North Yorkshire, named after the owners' Mini Golden Doodle. It sells the sort of things you might pick up for a new baby, a christening, a grandparent or a child's birthday: soft toys, keepsake photo frames, snow globes, money boxes, Disney mugs and figurines, Harry Potter bits and small squeeze toys. Most things cost between about £10 and £30, which makes it handy for presents when you don't want to spend a fortune.

It suits parents, grandparents and anyone buying for a baby shower or a young child's birthday. The range leans heavily towards keepsakes, with a large number of Bambino resin and wooden photo frames for milestones like a first scan, a christening or a first birthday. New lines are added every week, according to the shop.

What's worth a look

• Bambino Baby Scan Resin Photo Frame, Little Heart, currently £12.49. A small 4" x 3" frame sized for a scan photo, a common gift for expectant parents.
• Ravensden Soft Toy Plush King Penguin 30cm, currently £26.25. Ravensden makes realistic-looking wild animal soft toys, and there are dozens in the range, from octopuses to orangutans.
• Apples to Pears Storytime Tin, Little Red Riding Hood, currently £12.99. A decorated tin with a fairy-tale theme, useful for small treasures or treats.
• Disney Winnie the Pooh Resin Money Bank 'Money For Hunny', currently £35.25. A 15cm resin money box that doubles as a nursery ornament.
• Majigg Woody the Worm wooden twisting block toy, currently £10.99. A simple traditional toy that makes an easy stocking filler.

Prices can change, and some popular items, such as certain NeeDoh squeeze toys and larger Ravensden animals, were sold out when we looked, so check the product page before you plan around one.

Current offers

• Free UK delivery on every order, with no minimum spend. Delivery usually takes two to three working days, and orders are processed Monday to Friday. Details are in the shipping policy.
• Longer returns for Christmas: anything bought between 1 November and 24 December can be returned until 31 January, as long as it's unused and in its original packaging. See the returns policy.

We didn't find any discount codes on the shop's own pages at the time of writing.

How to save more

• Because delivery is free on everything, there's no need to pad out an order to reach a threshold. Buy a single £10 gift and that's what you pay.
• Shop early for Christmas. The extended returns window means presents bought in November can still be sent back in January if they're not right.
• Browse the new products page and brand collections such as Ravensden to compare similar items side by side before choosing.

Returns for change of mind are accepted within 30 days of delivery for unused items with tags and packaging, but you pay the return postage unless the item is faulty. Personalised and opened hygiene items can't be returned unless faulty.
