Tenergy is a battery company set up in 2004 in Fremont, California, making rechargeable batteries, chargers and battery packs for businesses as well as households. Tenergy Power is its own web shop, and it covers a lot of ground: everyday AA and AAA rechargeables, 9V and button cells, 18650 and 14500 lithium-ion cells, RC and airsoft packs, custom battery packs, solar panels and portable power stations.

It suits hobbyists, people who use a lot of batteries in remotes, toys and torches, and anyone after specialist cells. One thing to know up front: this is a US store. Prices are in US dollars, and while Tenergy does ship internationally, it says import duties, taxes and charges aren't included and are the buyer's responsibility. Its free-shipping offer only covers US addresses.

What's worth a look

Mains-powered products such as the T320 and T600 power stations are made for the US market (the T320 lists 110V AC outlets), so check socket type and voltage before buying one for a UK home. Prices can change.

Current offers

  • T600 Portable Power Station: currently $437.99, against a listed $499.99.
  • Portable 60W Solar Panel: currently $139.99, down from $159.99.
  • The site's banner offers free ground shipping over $50 with a code, but its shipping page says free shipping only applies to domestic US addresses, so it won't help UK orders.

How to save more

  • Work out the landed cost before you order. Add international shipping, UK import VAT and any duty to the dollar price, and remember your card may charge a foreign transaction fee.
  • Lithium products can attract Class 9 hazmat fees on air shipping, listed at $81 per box for international orders. NiMH AA and AAA packs avoid that, so they're usually the easiest things to import.
  • Buy multi-packs instead of single cells. The 20-pack of Premium PRO AAs works out at about $2.15 a battery.

US-based support is available by phone on +1 510 979 9969 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Pacific time, which is 5pm to 1am UK time) or by live chat on the site.

Products, prices and offers checked on the store's own website on 4 Oct 2026. Prices and stock can change.
