The Blossomist is a UK online florist that sends flowers nationwide, from slim letterbox boxes to larger hand-tied and luxury bouquets. A small team packs and arranges every order by hand, and the shop is organised around occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, new homes, new babies, thank-yous and sympathy. You can also add greetings cards, chocolates, candles and diffusers, or choose a ready-made gift set.

It suits anyone sending flowers to someone they can't visit, especially letterbox flowers that don't need anyone at home, and people who want regular flowers through a subscription. Letterbox flowers arrive in a slim box with a care guide, ready to trim and arrange in a vase, while hand-tied bouquets come ready arranged. Subscribers can change delivery dates from their account, up to 48 hours before a delivery is due to ship.

How to save more

• If you send flowers regularly, a pre-paid subscription includes next-day delivery, which saves the upgrade charge each time.

The Blossomist delivers across the UK, Monday to Saturday (Saturday adds £5.99), but not to PO boxes, BFPO addresses or the Channel Islands. All packaging is recyclable.
