THEGATHER is a small London knitwear label that says it launched in 2025. Its idea is simple: make fewer pieces, in natural fibres, and produce them in limited runs so there is less waste. The collection leans on Scottish lambswool, merino, cashmere and organic cotton, with a cosy, slightly vintage feel.
The range is small and focused. Alongside the knitwear you will find beanies, gloves and organic cotton T-shirts, plus a cotton tote bag for £12. The brand also publishes knit care advice on its site, which is worth a read before you wash your first wool piece.
It suits anyone building a capsule wardrobe who would rather spend more on one good cardigan than buy several cheaper ones. Sizes run from XS or S up to XL on most pieces, but runs are small, so popular sizes and colours can sell out.
