Warden9 is a Hong Kong-based software service for people who let AI agents loose on real systems: code repositories, cloud accounts, files and business tools. Rather than handing an agent your passwords and hoping for the best, you connect your accounts to Warden9, which keeps the credentials to itself, checks each action against rules you set and logs what happened. It suits solo developers using coding agents, small teams running agents in production and security teams who need an audit trail. Everything is sold online and priced in US dollars, so UK users pay by card in dollars.
The service also bundles access to AI models through three modes (Fast, Core and Power), a catalogue of ready-made integrations and support for MCP, the common standard for connecting tools to agents. Its knowledge base has step-by-step guides for linking GitHub, AWS, Google, Vercel and Telegram.
What's worth a look
- Free plan, currently $0. Includes the same guardrails and logging as paid plans, Fast mode models, community support and one session at a time, with no credit card needed. Suits anyone wanting to try the setup on a side project.
- Builder plan, currently $20 a month. Aimed at solo founders, it includes $10 of AI usage each week (about $43 a month at the published rates), all three model modes and two concurrent sessions, with no automatic overage charges.
- Pro plan, currently $50 a month. Adds human approval for sensitive actions, audit history and replay, up to five team members with priority support and four sessions. A fit for small teams running agents on live systems.
- Max plan, currently $200 a month. Adds self-hosted MCP, redaction and outbound traffic rules, a larger usage allowance and eight sessions, for heavier workloads.
- Enterprise, price on request. Runs the same system in your own cloud, private network, on-premises or air-gapped, with data residency controls, for larger organisations.
Prices can change, and the pricing page notes that fees exclude taxes. If you go over your plan's allowance there is also pay-as-you-go usage, billed per million tokens: Fast mode is currently $0.35 input and $2.00 output.
Current offers
- Free plan: try the platform at $0 without entering a card.
- Builder at $20 a month includes $10 of usage every week, which Warden9 works out at $43.49 in an average month.

How to save more
- Start on the free plan and only upgrade once you know which features and how much usage you actually need.
- Use Fast mode for routine tasks. Core and Power cost noticeably more per million tokens, so keep them for jobs that need them.
- Allowances refill weekly, with a rolling five-hour window inside each week, so spreading big jobs out can stop you needing a bigger plan.
Note that, under Warden9's terms, fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise, though paid plans can be cancelled at any time.
