Akko is a keyboard brand from Shenzhen, founded in 2016. It makes mechanical and magnetic-switch keyboards, its own switches and keycap sets, and more recently gaming mice and headsets. Its European shop, akkogear.eu, can show prices in pounds and sells several boards in the UK ISO layout, so you get a proper pound sign and Enter key. It suits gamers who want adjustable magnetic switches, typists who like a soft, creamy-sounding board, and anyone who wants a colourful or character-themed setup.
Most UK orders are shipped from Akko's warehouse in China, as its German warehouse doesn't deliver to the UK, so allow time for delivery. Keyboards come with a two-year parts warranty and a 30-day return period, though you pay return postage if you simply change your mind.
What's worth a look
- MOD68 HE ISO Magnetic Keyboard: a compact 65% board with hall effect magnetic switches, available in an ISO-UK layout. The wireless UK version is currently £70, down from £87.
- MU02 Mountain Seclusion Wooden Keyboard: a wooden-cased board with a VIA-programmable ISO-DE/UK option. It currently starts at £130, down from £148.
- Orange on Black ISO-DE/UK/Nordic Keycap Set: a 210-key Cherry-profile set that covers UK ISO layouts, currently £35, down from £44.
- Creamy Yellow U1 Switches: a pack of 100 linear switches for hot-swap boards, currently £18.
- ISO-UK keyboards: the quickest way to see every board currently sold with a UK layout.
Prices can change and some variants sell out, so check the layout and warehouse option on each product page.
If you're new to custom keyboards, the size names refer to how many keys are kept. A 65% board like the MOD68 drops the number pad and function row but keeps the arrow keys, while full-size boards keep everything. Akko also sells plenty of themed boards, mice and headsets featuring licensed anime and cartoon characters, which are a fun choice for a gaming desk or a present.
Current offers
- The Fall Setup Refresh sale has up to 20% off selected items.
- Mystery boxes start at £18 for a collab mouse pad. A 75% or 80% collab keyboard box is currently £52, down from £96.
- The outlet deals collection includes the Ray68 HE Magnetic Keyboard, currently £52, down from £70.
How to save more
- Check the warehouse on each variant. Only stock shown as shipping from the China warehouse can be sent to the UK.
- Buy a keycap set or switches to refresh a keyboard you already own, rather than replacing the whole board.
- If you buy from a sale, keep the packaging until you're happy. Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 30 days, but only with the original box and accessories.
Products, prices and offers checked on the store's own website on 4 Oct 2026. Prices and stock can change.
