Bare Kind makes bamboo socks covered in animals, with each design linked to a species the brand wants to help protect. Expect robins, puffins, hedgehogs, otters, capybaras, orangutans and highland cows, in adult and children's sizes. Bare Kind says it gives 10% of its profits to animal conservation charities. It is a certified B Corp and has worked with partners including the RSPB.
The socks are mostly bamboo fibre, blended with recycled polyamide and a little elastane, and arrive in plastic-free packaging. They make easy gifts for wildlife fans and are cheap enough for stocking fillers, especially as Christmas designs are already in.

Children's socks start at baby sizes and go up through toddler and school ages, so it's easy to buy matching family sets.
