About Bare Kind
Bare Kind makes bamboo socks decorated with animals, each design linked to a species it wants to help protect. The range runs from robins, puffins and hedgehogs to capybaras, orangutans and highland cows, in adult and children's sizes, with multipacks, gift boxes, mystery bundles and seasonal Christmas designs. Single adult pairs are currently £9.99, children's pairs £7.99, and bundles of two to seven pairs cost less per pair.
The socks are mostly bamboo fibre blended with recycled polyamide and a little elastane, and arrive in plastic-free packaging. The company says it donates 10% of its profits to animal conservation charities, has worked with partners such as the RSPB, and is a certified B Corp.
Bare Kind Limited was incorporated in 2018 and is registered in London. UK delivery is free over £25 by tracked Royal Mail second class, and the brand offers a 100-day returns window with free returns. There is also a points-based rewards scheme, a refer-a-friend offer, and a corporate gifting and wholesale service for businesses.
