ClearanceXL is an online-only clearance shop run from a warehouse near Doncaster. It buys surplus stock from manufacturers, distributors and other retailers, including short-dated food, items in old or damaged packaging, out-of-season lines and overstocks, then sells them on at low prices with delivery across the UK. It suits anyone who is happy to be flexible about brands and dates in return for cheaper cupboard fillers, snacks and household basics.

Each food listing shows its best-before date, and some items are past it. A best-before date is about quality rather than safety, and the shop says it does not sell anything past a use-by date. Stock changes all the time, so what you see today may be gone next week.

Beyond the food cupboard, there are sections for pet food, toiletries, cleaning products, toys and games, books, jewellery, clothing and pre-loved items, plus seasonal pages for Christmas, Easter, Halloween and Valentine's Day. A homepage notice dated May 2026 says orders and emails were running behind because of demand, so allow some extra time.

• Pick the slower £5.99 service if you're stocking up rather than buying for this week.
• Some products carry free delivery, so look for them when you're topping up a basket.
