About ClearanceXL
ClearanceXL is an online-only clearance retailer run from a warehouse in Misson, near Doncaster. Clearance XL Limited was registered in 2016. It buys surplus and residual stock from manufacturers, distributors and shops, then sells it on at low prices with home delivery across the UK. The warehouse is not open to the public.
Much of the range is food and drink: groceries, biscuits, crisps, sweets, drinks and tinned food, alongside pet food, toiletries, cleaning products, toys, books, clothing and pre-loved items. Some lines are short-dated or past their best-before date, which the shop lists on each product page; it says it does not sell anything past a use-by date. Many items are priced at 39p, 59p or 99p, with multi-buys such as 3 for 99p, and mystery boxes start at £19.99.
Delivery is charged by weight and postcode zone. In zones A and B it costs £5.99 for the 7 to 30 day service, £7.99 for 1 to 5 days or £9.99 for next day, and some products carry free delivery. Orders can be cancelled within 14 days of delivery or 30 days of ordering, although refunds may be partial depending on how far the order has progressed. Loyalty points are earned on every order.
