Extreme Comfort makes mattresses at its own factory in Ossett, West Yorkshire, and sells them straight to customers online. The company says it was founded in 2011 and that cutting out wholesalers is how it keeps prices down. It suits anyone furnishing a spare room, a child's bedroom or a first home on a tight budget, as well as anyone who wants a straightforward choice of sizes from a 75cm shorty up to king.
You can browse by size, by construction (open coil, pocket sprung, memory foam or hybrid) or by firmness, from plush through to firm. Most mattresses are rolled and boxed, so they're easier to get up the stairs, and the courier texts a two-hour slot on the day.
