About Extreme Comfort
Extreme Comfort is a mattress manufacturer based in Ossett, West Yorkshire, that sells what it makes straight to customers online. The company says it was set up in 2011 by Tim Hargreave and now runs a factory with more than 100 staff.
The range is built around budget and mid-priced mattresses in UK sizes from a 75cm shorty up to king, plus some European single sizes. You can shop by construction (open coil, pocket sprung, memory foam, hybrid), by firmness from plush to firm, or by size. Most mattresses start at around £50 for the smallest size, and there are also memory foam toppers and a storage ottoman bed.
Most mattresses are rolled and boxed and sent from the company's own factory by DPD or DHL, with a two-hour delivery slot sent by text. Orders over £49 go free to mainland UK, and you can spread the cost with Klarna. Returns can be requested within 30 days, but the item must be unused and in its original packaging, so it's worth choosing carefully.
