HEIPI is a photography accessories brand from Shenzhen, founded in 2019 by an engineer who photographs wildlife. Its 3-in-1 Travel Tripod was funded on Kickstarter in 2022 and the range has since grown into ball heads, clamps, quick release plates and brackets.
It suits travelling photographers, hikers and content creators who mix a mirrorless camera with a phone or action camera and want light, packable support. UK buyers see prices in pounds, though orders ship from overseas warehouses, so allow for delivery time and possible import charges.
Most of the range is built around the Arca-Swiss style quick release system, so HEIPI plates and heads should work with many other tripods and clamps that use the same standard. That makes it possible to start with one piece, such as a clamp or a mini head, and add to it later. There is also a heavier XPOD Pro still-and-video tripod and dual-camera brackets for people shooting stills and video at the same time, and user guides for each product are on the site.
