Pedal Go is a UK online shop that sells only electric bikes and scooters. The founder started it after an injury limited his mobility and an e-bike got him back out, and the range reflects that: plenty of step-through frames, folding bikes and electric trikes for riders who want an easy ride, alongside family cargo bikes and fat-tyre models for heavier use. It suits commuters, parents doing the school run and anyone who wants a bit of help with hills.

The shop stocks brands including Amcargobikes, Hygge, DYU, Emotorad, Engwe, MBM, Ezego, Dawes and Claud Butler, and there are guides on sizing and on UK e-bike law if you're new to it. • Ask your employer about cycle to work. Pedal Go works with Cyclescheme (via Cycle Solutions) and Bike2Work, where you pay from your salary before tax and National Insurance. The shop says this can save up to 42%. More on the cycle to work page.
• Check your price-match options before you order rather than after, as the guarantee doesn't cover voucher codes, auctions or clearance sales.
• Read the returns rules first. You get 14 days from delivery, you pay return postage unless the bike is faulty, and a restocking fee of up to 20% may apply if the bike has been assembled.
