Social Stories Club puts together gift boxes and hampers using products from social enterprises: businesses that use their profits or their hiring to support causes such as reforestation, disability inclusion and girls' education. Every gift includes a short booklet explaining the story behind each item, and no price or receipt goes in the box.
It's a good fit if you want a thank-you, birthday or Christmas present with a bit more meaning behind it, or if you're buying for colleagues or clients. All gifts are vegetarian as standard and there's a separate vegan range. Gift boxes are made from biodegradable cardboard and hampers come in reusable paper-rope baskets.
What's worth a look
- Build your own gift: choose the treats yourself. The 4-treat gift box is currently £26 and the 6-treat box is currently £38.
- Hug In A Box: a ready-made comfort gift, currently £33.

Businesses are a big part of what Social Stories Club does. There are pre-curated corporate gifts, branded ribbons in your company colours and bespoke boxes for larger orders, and you can book a call with the team to plan a staff or client gifting round. There's no minimum order on the website, so a single gift is just as welcome as a hundred.

How to save more

- Stick with the free 48-hour delivery where you can. Orders placed before noon on a working day usually go out the same day.
- For a smaller budget, try the letterbox gifts or the £0 to £30 range.
If something arrives damaged or isn't as described, email the team with photos and they'll send a prepaid return label. For change-of-mind returns you have 14 days after delivery on most items, but short-dated food and opened personal-care products are excluded.
