CANOPY is an independent UK beauty brand run by founders Debra and Nicholas, who say they have more than twenty years' experience in vegan and sustainable beauty. The idea is 'mindful luxury': botanical skincare alongside hand-poured soy wax candles, so your skincare and your evening wind-down come from the same shop.

The brand says its ingredients are vegan and cruelty-free certified and that its main packaging uses at least 50% recycled plastic. It suits anyone who wants a small, considered skincare routine, and it's useful for gifts, as several sets come gift-ready and orders can be gift-wrapped. The range is small enough to browse in a few minutes, and most full-size skincare costs between £38 and £58. CANOPY only delivers within the UK.

The Overnight Oat Serene calming creme is the newest launch, an evening moisturiser at £55. For a cheaper way in, the First Ritual Cleanse Kit puts a full-size 150ml amino acid cleanser with two organic cotton cloths and a gift bag for £35.

Beyond skincare, the soy candles are hand-poured and use biodegradable wax. First Light is a floral blend of freesia, lily, jasmine and gardenia, and there's a seasonal candle subscription if you want new scents through the year. The gift sets range from the £35 cleanse kit to the £49 Ritual After Dark autumn box, the £79 Wellbeing Glow Box and the £159 Ultimate Glow Experience.

If you're not sure what suits your skin, the personalised ritual page helps you put a routine together. You can buy up to five of any one item per order, and the shipping policy says UK orders over £50 go by tracked Evri delivery. Orders are usually processed within one to two working days.
