About Optimum Nutrition
Optimum Nutrition is a sports nutrition brand that started in Illinois in 1986, growing out of a supplement distribution business set up by brothers Tony and Michael Costello. Since 2008 it has been part of the Irish food and nutrition group Glanbia, and its products are now sold in around 100 countries.
The range is best known for Gold Standard 100% Whey, and also covers whey isolate, clear protein, casein, mass gainers, micronised creatine, pre-workout, electrolytes, energy drinks, collagen, vitamins and shakers. The UK site adds money-saving bundles, a protein calculator, recipes and training advice, plus an online AI coach for product questions.
UK orders are priced in pounds and sent from the brand's distribution centre in Heerenveen in the Netherlands by DPD. Orders placed before 2pm on a weekday are sent the same day for next-day delivery, which is free over £50 and £3.99 below that. Unopened, sealed products can be sent back within 14 days, and refunds usually reach your bank one to three working days after the return is processed.
