About Space NK
Space NK is a British beauty retailer founded by Nicky Kinnaird in 1991. Its first shop opened in Covent Garden, London, in 1993, selling hard-to-find beauty brands from overseas alongside fashion labels. More shops followed across the UK and Ireland, and in July 2025 the business was bought by the US retailer Ulta Beauty. Its head office is in London.
Space NK sells skincare, make-up, haircare, fragrance, bodycare, suncare and beauty tools from a range of more than 130 brands, including names such as Drunk Elephant, NARS, Charlotte Tilbury and Diptyque, as well as brands sold only through Space NK. It also stocks Korean beauty and some electrical tools.
Space NK sells online, through its app and from its shops, where beauty advisers can order items that aren't in stock. Click & Collect to stores is free. The free NDULGE loyalty scheme earns points on purchases in store and online, and a £10 Limitless Beauty pass gives a year of free next-day delivery. Online orders usually come with free samples at checkout.
