Nike store spotlight: Pegasus runners, ACG layers and sale trainers

Shopping at Nike? See all current Nike discount codes and deals, checked regularly.

Nike's UK site sells the brand's full range of trainers, running shoes, sportswear and kit for adults and children, from performance running and football boots to lifestyle classics like the Air Max and Air Force 1. Buying direct means you see the full colour and size range, and you can join Nike Membership for free for member delivery perks. It suits runners and gym-goers who want the latest versions of shoes, and anyone hunting for a reduced pair of everyday trainers in the sale.

What's worth a look

• Nike Pegasus 42 Men's Road-Running Shoes: currently £129.99. The Pegasus is Nike's everyday road-running shoe, built to cope with most of your weekly miles rather than just race day. The wider Pegasus range also includes women's versions, a GORE-TEX model, an EasyOn version and the bouncier Pegasus Plus 2, so it's worth comparing before you choose.
• Nike ACG 'Tuff Fleece' Pullover Hoodie: currently £104.99. ACG is Nike's outdoor line, and this is a fleece pullover for walks and cold mornings. The ACG cold-weather collection goes further, with insulated jackets, hiking trousers and waterproof GORE-TEX trail shoes for colder months.
• Nike Winflo 12 Women's Road Running Shoes: currently £69.99 in the sale, down from £99.99 on the listing page. It's a cushioned daily trainer at a lower price than the Pegasus, so it's a good pick for newer runners or anyone building up to a first 5K.
• Nike Air Max 90 Men's Shoes: currently £94.49, reduced from £134.99. It's a long-running lifestyle trainer with a visible Air unit, aimed at everyday wear rather than sport.

Prices can change, and sale stock varies by size and colour, so check the product page before you buy.

• Use the student discount on new releases, not sale stock. The 10% student discount applies to selected full-price items, so it's most useful on current models like the Pegasus 42 that aren't in the sale.
• Pick up in store if your basket is under £50. Free same-day in-store pick-up gets you your order without a delivery charge, and the 30-day returns window gives you time to test the fit at home.
