Instead, it uses what the company calls CloudSIM technology to find the strongest local mobile network wherever you are, then shares the connection with up to eight devices. It suits frequent travellers, people who work from cafés or trains, and households that want a backup connection when the broadband drops. The UK site prices in pounds and ships free.
It is worth knowing what you're buying from. The site doesn't name the company behind it or give a postal address, though its terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and it offers a 60-day return window, which gives you time to test it properly.
What's worth a look
