Moonpig is the UK's well-known online card shop, where you personalise a greeting card with your own message, photos or even a video and have it posted to you or straight to the recipient. It also sells flowers, balloons, chocolate, hampers, alcohol and branded gifts that can go in the same delivery as a card. It suits anyone who forgets birthdays until the last minute, people sending cards to family who live far away, and anyone who'd like the card and gift sorted in one order.
What's worth a look
- Photo upload cards: you can put your own photos on the front of a card, and the range covers birthdays, anniversaries and Christmas. Card prices depend on size, and the site doesn't list them on the collection pages, so check when you design one.
- The Sunflower & Germini Bouquet: currently from £35. Moonpig lists it among its best-selling bouquets, with optional upgrades. Moonpig's flower pages carry a 7-day freshness guarantee. A cheerful choice for a birthday or thank you.
- The Celebration of Colour Bouquet: currently from £40. A bigger, brighter bouquet from the same best-sellers list, worth a look if you want something a bit more generous.
- Maltesers Truffles 'Happy Birthday' Gift Box 336g: currently £11.99, reduced from £14.99. An easy add-on to a birthday card for a chocolate fan.

How to save more
- Think about Moonpig Plus if you send lots of cards. The Plus page lists 30% off all cards, 50% off a selection of 100+ cards, a free postcard every month and your first standard card and 1st Class postage free. Check the membership fee against how many cards you send in a year.
- Pick your postage carefully. On Moonpig's delivery page, a standard card costs £1.90 to send First Class, while Royal Mail Tracked starts at £2.79. If you're not cutting it fine, First Class keeps the total down.
- Set reminders early. Setting three reminders gets you 20% off cards, and ordering ahead means you won't need to pay for next-day tracked delivery.
