Mountain Warehouse is a British outdoor retailer selling its own-brand jackets, fleeces, walking boots, camping kit and ski wear for men, women and kids, alongside a selection of other brands. It suits anyone who wants practical outdoor gear without paying specialist prices: dog walkers, families kitting out growing children, weekend hillwalkers and people who simply want a warm coat for the school run. With the clocks going back at the end of the month, its autumn layers are the obvious place to start.

What's worth a look

  • Seasons Mens Padded Jacket: currently £39.99, down from £79.99 (prices can change). A water-resistant padded jacket with a hood and recycled microfibre filling, which Mountain Warehouse says is lab-tested for temperatures down to -30°C. It suits everyday cold-weather wear rather than technical mountain use. There are women's and kids' Seasons versions in the padded jackets range too.
  • Camber II Mens Half-Zip Fleece: currently £9.99, down from £24.99 (prices can change). A lightweight anti-pill microfleece meant as a mid-layer under a waterproof. At this price it's a sensible spare for the car or the office. The Camber II Kids Half-Zip Fleece is currently £5.99.
  • Adventurer Womens Waterproof Walking Boots: currently £34.99, down from £69.99 (prices can change). The store describes these as its entry-level waterproof boot, with a waterproof membrane, a cushioned footbed and a deep-lugged sole. They're designed for day walks and dog walking, and there's a men's Adventurer boot as well.
  • Trail Kids Waterproof Walking Boots: currently £29.99, down from £59.99 (prices can change). They're worth a look if muddy half-term walks are on the cards. You'll find more children's options in the walking boots section.
  • Fleece range: from cosy kids' fleeces to longline women's jackets such as the Mallaig, many currently show reductions of 50% or more against the comparison price.

Current offers

  • Our listing shows 50% or more off Mountain Warehouse-branded items, and when we checked, the site's banner was advertising the same offer for this weekend.
  • Clearance with up to 70% off (Mountain Warehouse notes that savings are measured against a comparable price).
  • Free standard delivery on orders over £50.
  • Free next-day delivery on orders over £125.
  • Free click and collect on orders over £20.
  • 10% student discount through UNiDAYS.

How to save more

  • Plan around the delivery thresholds. According to the product pages, standard delivery costs £4.50 under £50 and next-day costs £5.95 under £125, so adding a £9.99 fleece to a £39.99 jacket gets you past the free-delivery line.
  • Check the clearance section before buying at full markdown. Some lines, such as the Camber II fleeces, carry a "Sale" tag with deeper cuts than the main offer.
  • Sign up to the email newsletter at the bottom of the homepage for offer alerts. Students should verify through UNiDAYS first.

Products, prices and offers checked on the store's own website on 3 Oct 2026. Prices and stock can change.
