Screwfix is the UK trade counter for tools and hardware, with around 940 stores and a large website covering everything from screws and sealants to plumbing, electrical and power tools. It's built for tradespeople but works just as well for DIYers, thanks to click and collect in as little as a minute and next-day delivery seven days a week. Its current Packed With Power event focuses on cordless tools and batteries. Screwfix also has clearance and refurbished products sections, and in some areas its Sprint service can deliver in as little as 20 minutes.
What's worth a look
- DEWALT DCD778M2T-SFGB 18V Brushless Combi Drill: currently £139.99, down from £199.99. It comes with two 4.0Ah batteries, so it suits anyone who needs a first proper drill kit for home projects.
- DEWALT DCK2060M2T-SFGB 18V Brushless Twin Pack: currently £189.99, was £249.99. A combi drill and impact driver with two 4.0Ah batteries, a good fit for regular DIYers or trades building a kit.
- DEWALT DCS391 165mm 18V Cordless Circular Saw (bare): currently £99.99, was £109.99. Bare means no battery or charger, so it's for people already using DEWALT 18V batteries.
- Milwaukee M18 B5 18V 5.0Ah Battery: currently £54.99, or buy 2 for £100. Useful if you're on the Milwaukee M18 platform and want a spare.
- Makita BL1850B 18V 5.0Ah LXT Battery: currently £69.99, or buy 2 for £120, for Makita LXT users.
Prices can change and the event won't last forever, so check the product page before you order. You can see everything in the event on the Packed With Power page.
